Damaged Goods & Missing Items

We partner with reputable freight carriers known for reliability and on-time delivery. While every precaution is taken, shipping damage can occasionally occur.

Upon Delivery

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival:

  • Visible or severe damage:
    Do not accept the delivery. Refuse the shipment.

  • Minor or external packaging damage:

    Accept the shipment

    Clearly write “Package Damaged” on the delivery receipt before signing

If you refuse a damaged shipment, please notify us promptly so we can track and manage the return.

Reporting Shipping Damage

All shipping damage or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. This timeframe is critical for filing a claim with the freight carrier.

Once Reported

  • We will coordinate with the freight carrier to retrieve the damaged item
  • We will arrange a replacement part or replacement unit of the same model, at no additional cost

If a replacement is not preferred, the item may be returned in accordance with our 30-Day Return Policy.

Refused Deliveries (Non-Damage Related)

For deliveries refused for reasons not covered under the Damaged Goods Policy:

  • Refunds will be issued for the original purchase price
  • Actual shipping costs (outbound and return) will be deducted
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item is unused
  • The product is not classified as machinery
  • The return has been authorized by Billy Boy Tools

Once the return is received and inspected, eligible refunds are typically processed within 7 business days.

Required Items for All Returns

To ensure your return is accepted, please include:

  • Original packaging (boxes, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Original UPC barcode (removal of the barcode voids return eligibility)
  • Original packing slip
  • All included accessories (cords, carrying cases, transformers, remotes, batteries, assembly tools, etc.)
  • Manufacturer manuals, warranty cards, registration materials, and documentation

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to additional fees.

Defective Merchandise

If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 30 days of shipment.

After approval and return authorization:

  • We will replace the item or issue a full refund
  • Original ground shipping costs will be covered by Billy Boy Tools

Non-Defective Merchandise

Returns of non-defective items require prior authorization and are subject to the following conditions:
